DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs part of this position, your main responsibility will be to uphold the fairness and honesty of horse racing by interpreting and implementing the rules and regulations set by the Pennsylvania Horse Racing Commission. Your duties will involve maintaining important records such as the Judges Books, the Steward's List, accident reports, and daily reports to the Commission. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing, delivering, and publicly displaying all notices regarding penalties, rulings, and decisions. Furthermore, you will provide support and assistance to the Presiding Judge in their role.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Per Diem employment.
• Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday and Sunday.
• Work schedule is vendor controlled and may vary based on race schedule.
• Salary: This position is per diem; the daily rate of pay is $340.00.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirements:

• You must have ROAP (Racing Officials Accreditation Program) Accreditation
• You must have USTA (United States Trotting Association) Certification
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

• Commission Employee License
