LAKE FUEL INJECTOR
The Lake injector is built specifically for motorcycle and other small engine applications. Lake Research and Development Company claims a 10 percent to 15 percent hp increase throughout the power range when compared with the standard carburetion system. Several different flange mounts, bell lengths and throat diameters are available. This efficient fuel metering system features a fully adjustable range from idle to full throttle. Adjustment is carried out by simply turning a low or high speed knob. This injector depends on gravity for fuel flow and is not a diaphragm type. BELL FOG FREE
Bell Helmets announces a new antifog and cleaning liquid called Fog Free. This substance, according to Bell, can be used to keep the insides of face shields, goggles, and eyeglasses free of mist. A necessity for night or cold weather riding, it can also be used to clean windscreens and mirrors. WEBCO "KILL" BUTTON
In the event that your engine races at full throttle, it is very unhandy and dangerous to grope for the key to turn off the ignition. Webco has introduced a product that eliminates this potential hazard. A charming, petite lass named Mel Murphy, who has an eye for flashy color, has created a line of big poster paintings featuring the top 10 AMA national championship riders. Such greats as National No. 1 Mert Lawwill, road racer Cal Rayborn, flat track master Bart Markel, and the late mile track star, Fred Nix are included, all in blazing hues. They come in two sizes: 22 by 28 in., $7; and 9 by 12 in., $3. These are standard picture frame sizes. Half the funds from the sale of the Fred Nix poster, incidentally, will go to a fund for Fred’s wife, widowed last year when he died in an automobile accident. KANT-SLIP FOOT GRIPS
These new footpeg rubbers, made of a space-age neoprene rubber, have a unique design. The molded spiney surface grips the rider's foot even in wet weather.
