Salary Range: $55,000- $56,000 annualized, commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Job Summary Essential Functions Responsible for leadership and program development for Fraternity and Sorority Life. Develop and implement university strategies for Fraternity and Sorority Life, including both academic growth, standards, and leadership development. Serve as part of the Fraternity and Sorority Life team to develop, and facilitate educational and leadership programs, advising chapter and council leaders, and serving as a resource to promote a safe, broad, and fun fraternity and sorority community.
Core Responsibilities
Advises and assists in the coordination and implementation of academic support, leadership development, risk management, hazing prevention, crisis management, alcohol awareness, formal and informal recruitment, and other programs for members of the Fraternity/Sorority community.
Creates and promotes academic programming efforts and strategic planning for the Fraternity/Sorority community.
Maintains contact with Fraternities/Sororities, their advisor, and National Bodies to monitor compliance with university policies and procedures.
Serves as resource and administrative liaison to national and international officers, chapter alumni advisors, local alumni/graduate chapters, chapter officers, and members.
Supports individual sorority and fraternity chapter presidents through coaching including providing best practices for recruitment, new member education and risk management, interpretation of relevant university policies and procedures, organization discipline, and mutual agreement administration.
Interprets institutional and system policies to students with regard to student organizations. Evaluate policies and procedures and make recommendations to the Associate Director and Director of the Student Involvement Center.
Advises, coordinates, advocates and promotes social general fraternities and sororities and related programs, in concert with other staff members in the Student Involvement Center.
Coordinates and implements institutional policies for Fraternity/Sorority expansion (i.e. growth and standards).
Serves as a member of the Expressive Activity Response Team addressing elevated demonstrations on campus. Assist with oversight of small-scale campus expressive activity.
Supports programs and events sponsored by the Student Involvement Center.
Supports university-wide programs including, but not limited to, Roadrunner Days, Homecoming and Commencement.
Collaborates with other campus offices to promote student engagement including Student Activities, Housing and Residence Life, Career Services, Student Development and Social Connections, Center for Civic Engagement, as well as academic colleges and departments.
Recruits, supervises, and trains a graduate assistant and student staff.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Higher Education, Student Personnel Administration, Education, or related field.
Six (6) years of related experience.
Knowledge of International/National Social General Fraternity/Sorority.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Anthology Engaged, and Adobe Photoshop.
Demonstrated skills in the following areas: student advising, budgeting, program planning, project management, marketing, and effective collaboration with various constituencies.
Demonstrated independent decision-making and risk management planning.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of student advising, leadership development, and event planning in a university setting preferred.

Working Conditions
High-student-contact office environment.
Accompany students on university-sponsored trips such as conferences.
Ability to travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events.
After-hours and weekend work or overtime may be required.
Physical Demands:
Exerts up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally.
This position will be primarily located on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee’s responsibility.
